Working away…

The new version is still in the works - there just seems like a lot to do still!

So far you can log in and see stats and when you play your stats are recorded back at base. We’re working on registering new users and such right now, I wish i could give everyone what we have now, but its just not polished enough :(

The biggest plus for me recently is the amazing speedup which ive achieved with the scripts - if you’ve played the del script for instance and you’ve noticed pauses in the animations - thats due to the loading time for some images which are not cached. Now Ive sorted this issue everything works a lot better!

Should be worth the wait!

small updated version - 1.1j

Hello everyone!

Due to the number of people with problems actually running clickbeat (not that many people really but we care about you!) I have released a version tonight that can also use OpenGL graphics drivers!

If you download the latest release (v1.1j) and let me know on the forum if it works for you (or not?) I would be most greatfull!

Also - we are working more and more towards version 2 of clickbeat now - which will offer online user management and highscores so you’ll be able to play against the rest of the world! Stay tuned…

New Release - Version 1.1i

We’re back with a new release! Wow, how did this take us so long? Well we have busy lives right now, but we really wanted to get this out as soon as possible.

This new version features:

New feartures:
100% Cabinet friendly! (Or at least very very close!) - this includes a clickable keyboard when you enter a highscore.

Bug Fixes:
Selecting scripts below the list is no longer possible!

Get it now from the downloads page!

Official script: Surasshu/Ceekayed - Dark Matter

grab it from the official scripts page!

I finally finished a new script! This script has music by the amazing Ceekayed, and art by the equally awesome junkboy, much thanks to both of these artists. The story is pretty creepy and may traumatize you permanently, so avert your eyes if you’re a sensitive soul.

It’s a quite hard script, especially at the end. But I don’t think anything about it is impossible. Don’t get distracted by the visuals and you should be able to do well with practice.

New script: Everybody To The Limit

Another user has joined the ranks of scripters, and his first is a gem indeed. The first released script to use the undocumented animation features (before even an official script uses it!), we give you Diamond-Dogs script:

Strongbad - Everybody To The Limit

As always, grab it from the user-made scripts page. Enjoy!

New script: Colors of Funk!

Aviare has been doing some great scripting for Clickbeat, but he’s really outdone himself this time. Making use of the custom circles and other scripting elements to create a true “outside the box” Clickbeat script: Colors of Funk.

Go to the user-made scripts page to download it, and remember that you can always grab his latest works from the forum before they appear on the main site!

New release…Again! Get version 1.1h

I dont know what my personal obsession with v1.1’s is…but here’s another 1.1 release!

Version 1.1h includes the following additions:

- AutoPlay Mode!
- Circle numbers up to whatever you want!
- Replaceable cursor (see new command in the help file)

I know some people have been waiting for some of these, so comment on the forum and let us know what you think!

New release - ClickBeat v1.1g

A small but significant couple of updates in a new version!

Addition commands:
- PlaySound()

bug fixes:
- sounds will now repeat properly (as used in the createcircle command)
- Windows X will now close the program

Enjoy!

New script: Animation Exercises!

Check out the latest script by spacefractal and Aviare: Animation Exercises. It’s got some very interesting animation going and it’s a lot of fun to play, so grab it now from the user-made scripts section!

First official fanmade script!

If you ever been here before, you’ll notice that a new section has opened up before your eyes: User-made scripts. This is because the first user-made script with completely original music was released!

The song in question is composed by spacefractal, who posted it and asked if anybody felt like making a script for it. Aviare volunteered and together they combined to create the very challenging and aptly named High Tolerance.

Grab it from the User-made scripts section, and watch that space because many more scripts are coming up. (Of course there are also more user-made scripts on the forums).
